High school says 'Thanks'

| May 12, 2005 11:00 PM

Whitefish High School played host to fifteen schools for our annual A.R.M. (Akey, Rosenberg and Murphy) Track Meet this past weekend. It was a great day. Many say it is one of the best track meets held in the State. We agree add that it is largely because of the fantastic people that volunteer.

The WHS Boosters and Coca-Cola provided lunch this year to our 100 volunteers and visiting coaches. It was a nice addition. Whitefish High School would like to give special recognition to a few people: Colleen Sullivan, Nikki Carlson and Mary Yeats. Thank you ladies for your devotion to the kids and our track program.

The Booster Auction was once again huge success. Thank you very much to the local businesses and community members for their support and donations to a great cause, our Bulldogs. It was a great way to welcome spring. This year's event grossed $37,437.

In all, our student-athletes are very lucky to have the support, dedication and commitment from our generous community and our exceptional coaches. Thank you very much to all of you for your time, not only this past Saturday, but throughout the school year.
