Please help spread the word throughout our community that the Flathead Food Bank is in need of volunteers this summer. Summer is a very difficult time for the Flathead Food Bank's five pantries because donations sharply decrease and volunteers go on vacations or simply want to enjoy the summer with their families. This leads the food banks in quite a bind.

Flathead Food Bank needs the following volunteers:

Senior Commodity Delivery: need 3-4 volunteers to deliver 2 hours per month. Columbia Falls and Kalispell areas.

Kalispell Pantry: needs all types of volunteers such as interviewers, food box preparation, general food processing and cleaning.

Evergreen Pantry: grocery transport, Tuesdays 9:30 a.m. to noon.

Bigfork Pantry: Co-pantry manager.

Columbia Falls: general volunteer, Tuesdays 9:30 a.m. to noon.

Martin City: general volunteer, first and third Tuesdays 1-3 p.m.
