Jr. golfers tee off

The Columbia Falls junior golf team fared well at the Flathead Valley Junior Tour tournament at Meadowlake on Monday.

In the 11 and under group, Taylor Martinson shot a 54 and took second place while Henry Chisolm shot an 81.

In the 12 and 13 age group, Reed Platke shot a 86 and finished first. Tanner Lineberry shot a 101, Austin Barth shot a 114, Uriah Keller shot a 115 and Derek Hader shot a 125.

The next tournament will be held July 18 in Buffalo Hills at 2 p.m.
