Israeli champion figure skater Michael Shmerkin will perform at the Whitefish Figure Skating Club's 14th annual ice show "Magical Moments on Ice" on Saturday, Dec. 10, at 7:30 p.m. in the Stumptown Ice Den. Club members will also perform. Tickets are available at Imagination Station in Whitefish and Kalispell.

DREAM adaptive ski program is in need of volunteers. Volunteers are asked to attend one orientation meeting and one on-snow training clinic. An orientation meeting will be held Jan. 12 at the Whitefish Library Board Room at 7 p.m. On-snow clinics are on Saturdays, Dec. 10 and Jan 14. A fund-raiser will be held Dec. 8 at 4 p.m. at the Bierstube with Debbie Demmons and the Bowltones. There is a $5 cover. A snowboard/binding and boot package donated by the Sportsman & Ski Haus will be raffled along with other great prizes. The Alpinglow Inn is offering $50 rooms the night of the show.
