Panama Canal lost

| September 29, 2004 11:00 PM

To the editor,

I don't know how many of our taxpaying voters have heard the latest, "but as the wind blows", which is a piece of what most of our citizens call junk mail, this piece of junk mail should be paid attention to.

The latest is that al-Qaida is building up to a plan to attack our Panama Canal, and Li Ka-Shing is making no attempt to stop them.

While the Red Chinese control the Panama Canal, the security of the U.S.A. hangs in the balance.

As it is noticed, as of now, no one seems to know or even have a plan to stop al-Qaida from this terrible plan of destruction, and as we all know, Panama has no army for protection, so as I see it, the Red Chinese have full reign for what's going to take place.

It seems that the average American doesn't have one "iota" of an idea what's going on in our good old U.S.A.

As for the last 50 years, everything has been too easy for us all, as we U.S.'ers just don't or won't own up to what's shaping up all around us.

We need to educate our Congress on to what's beginning to take place all around us.

We, the Americans, could wake up to complete disaster all around us, from Iraq and Vietnam to all of our southern shores, from Boston all the way to Seattle, while we laugh and have a good time, as usual.

Come on America, let's open our eyes to what's going on in this world of ours.
