Stefanie Michelle-Hermes Gamble

Stefanie Michelle-Hermes Gamble, 34, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004, at her residence in the Kila community.

She was born May 13, 1970, in Colorado Springs, Colo.

She was home-schooled for 12 years and also spent one year at the American College of Art in London, England. On July 3, 1994, she was united in marriage to Charles Gamble in Kalispell. She was a very talented artist and enjoyed drawing with her daughter. She loved to laugh and make others laugh and was a stay-at-home mom.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Nona Hermes. Survivors include her husband, Charles, and daughter, Samantha, both of Kila; a sister, Greta Todhunter of Whitefish; a brother Jason Todhunter and his wife Diana of Harlowton; her mother, Barbara Todhunter of Whitefish; and her grandfather Eugene Hermes of Whitefish.

Graveside urn burial will be on Thursday (today) at 11:30 a.m. at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery in Kalispell. There will be no visitation. The family suggests that any memorial contributions go to the Stefanie Gamble Memorial Fund: in care of Sandy Smith, P.O. Box 4603, Whitefish, MT 59937. Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson Mortuary and Crematory.
