To the editor,
After facing many setbacks this year related to food resources and, specifically, meat, local businesses rescued the Flathead Food Bank at the livestock auction at a time when their freezer was near empty.
The businesses below brought a total of five steers, 12 hogs and nine lambs to the Food Bank's five pantries.
WE would like to thank these area businesses for filling their freezers with meat once again - SemiTool, Schellinger Construction, Stoltze Land and Lumber Co., Flathead Electric Cooperative, CenturyTel, Precision Engineering, Flathead Bank of Bigfork, Murer Construction, United Tool Rental, Glacier Bank Lodgepole, Inc., Wells Fargo, and Rocky Mountain Counseling.
