Bryan Hillard Boyd

Bryan Hillard Boyd, 43, caring and loving father, devout Christian, died in his sleep Tuesday, June 29, at his home in Whitefish. He was born Aug. 29, 1960, in LaGrange, Ill.

Raised in Western Springs, Ill., he graduated from Lyons Township High School class of 1978. He traveled the world, living in Minnesota, Washington, California and settling in Whitefish. His most recent work was in the film industry as a grip on major motion pictures.

He was an active member of the Assembly of God Church in Whitefish. He was regarded as a reliable man with a great sense of humor; many said, "His heart was as big as the state of Montana." He is survived by his children: Kellyn (9), Samantha (11), and Bryn (13); his parents, William and Shirley Boyd of Mountain Home, Ark.; his siblings; Kathi Boyd of Chicago, William Boyd of Aspen, Colo., Kristine Boyd Stepan of Austin, Texas, Colleen Boyd Sullivan of Hingham, Mass., Robert Boyd of Downers Grove, Ill., 14 nieces and nephews and Scott and Erica Faraone of Whitefish.

A funeral service was held July 6 at the Assembly of God Church, Whitefish. Burial will be a private family service.
