Robert F. Morris

Robert Franklin Morris, 91, passed away June 5, 2004, at his son's home in Riverdale, Utah.

He was born Nov. 24, 1912, in Fallon, Mont., a son of Arthur James and Edna Viola Hill Morris.

He attended school in Whitefish and graduated in the class of 1934 as salutatorian. After graduating he went to New York, where he attended a photography school.

On Sept. 19, 1952, he married Margaret Head. He then married Florence Sperry and was currently married to Kathleen Goff.

Robert served in the U.S. Navy during World War II as a photographer's mate First Class. He was a member of the Intermountain Professional Photographers Association, Professional Photographers of America, Utah Blue Chips, co-owner of Collins and Morris Photographers (later Morris Photography), and a photographer for the Ogden Standard-Examiner. He was also involved with the Lions Club, and was an amateur radio operator, call sign "NC7A."

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen, and three children, Dennis H. Morris, Diane M. Plant, and Alan D. MOrris; 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; his twin brother, David Morris of Whitefish, and a brother, Arthur Morris of Bigfork.

He was preceded in death by his second wife, Florence, his parents, five brothers and sisters and son-in-law, Keith Plant.

The family would like to thank Applegate Hospice, especially Emily, Lisa and Tammy Fox, for the loving care given our father.

Graveside services were held June 9 at the Veterans Memorial Park in Bluffdal, Utah.
