July 18

Man wrecked a car on Fourth Avenue and then fled into a nearby garage where he was found. Woman was screaming at her husband.

July 19

Road rage ended in rear-end accident on Highway 2. Semi driver and an irate car driver got into an argument on Meadow Lake Boulevard over alleged poor driving on the semi’s part. Fight in alley behind Boys and Girls Club. A car drove through playground at school. No damage to the playground.

July 20

Man claims he was almost hit by a car crossing Highway 2 at Meadow Lake Boulevard and it happens a lot. There were more than a few complaints about bad driving. A woman thought a Ford Ranger in a parking lot may have been her stolen pickup, but it wasn’t.

July 21

Wreck on Fourth Avenue. Boy hit head on windshield. Kids doing a lot of “ding dong ditch.”

Toy poodle found wandering the streets. Report of missing person; may have been hurt while boating Whitefish Lake and had an injured leg and was flighted out. Party was wondering if police could look it up. They didn’t find anything. Car hit a tree on Fourth Street.

Grass fire on 7th St. Put out with fire extinguisher. Motorcyclist v. car on Nucleus Avenue. Neighbors arguing on Second Avenue. A woman was going up to tables at Gunsight asking for coke. A woman was throwing bottles at a man on Dorothy Street.

July 25

A woman was told not to sleep on the sidewalk on Nucleus Avenue. A woman suffered a compound fracture on 12th Avenue West after being hit by a truck from British Columbia pulling out from the church parking lot. 

July 26

Report of loud music on Nucleus Avenue. A man was bleeding from his face after an apparent row at the Blue Moon. There were warrants out for his arrest out of Arizona.

July 27

Drunk man looked to sleeping one off in a Jeep on Meadow Lake Boulevard. Report of a former employee cashing an unauthorized check from a local business. Report of man on the side of the road on Highway 206. He was OK. Wreck on Highway 2. Minor damage. Kid said his father hit him while they were on the bridge.

July 28

A truck pulling a boat and trailer didn’t make the turn and hit a building on Highway 2. Drunk man was locked out of house by family member. A vacation renter said the key to the house was no longer working.
