The Columbia Falls golf team will lean on its seniors this year as well as some young talent. Leading the boys are seniors Will Pickard, Tucker Gonalez and Winslow Peters. Peters and Pickard qualified for state last season, while Addy Bowler, who is a senior this year qualified for the girls.

All told the team has 12 boys and four girls. Bowler and Alexis Johnson are the two senior girls.

Coach Josiah Osborne said they’re also hoping for good things from their freshmen, most notably Bentley Cady, who shot a 70 and won the JV tourney at West Glacier on Aug. 19.

The Wildcats are already well into the season, with varsity meets at Ronan, Browning and on Monday they were home at Meadow Lake Resort. They also golfed in Whitefish Tuesday.

Results were not available.

This week they travel to Missoula for the King Ranch Invitational on Thursday.
