Swimmers compete in Kalispell

The Columbia Falls swim team competed in a meet in Kalispell on Saturday. The boys took sixth and the girls took eighth in the meet, which featured both A and AA schools from across the region.

Top swimmers for the boys included Adam Schrader, who took fourth in the 200 yard freestyle and Quinn Clark, who took third in the 100 butterfly. Jonathan Blenkenship took fifth the 500 freestyle; the boys took fourth in the 200 free and Connor Keith was seventh in the 100 breaststroke.

On the girls side, they were eighth in the 200 medley, Kaylee King was seventh in the 50 free; Eloise McKeon was ninth in the 100 butterfly and 100 free; Sadie Cheff was eighth in the 100 free, the girls were eighth in the 200 free relay and Cheff was eighth in the 100-yard breaststroke.

The girls also took fifth the 400 free relay.

They’re scheduled to travel to Butte this weekend.
