Sept. 2

Black bear at River’s Edge Park. Police helped a woman who wanted to go to the hospital for mental health reasons.

Sept. 3

Report of a student being attacked by classmates while walking home from school. A woman claimed she was refused medical care because she refused to wear a mask. Police said it wasn’t a criminal matter. Lots of banging at an apartment. Man claimed he was just moving weights. Report of a man yelling in apartment that he would shoot the kids in the head.

Sept. 4

Kids were told not to ride bikes on loading ramp of business. Report of pallets falling out of pickup.

Sept. 5

Argument between man and woman, woman said, “Don’t pour water on me.” Report of a man stealing pills from a woman. The bear was back at River’s Edge Park. Possible gunshot heard.

Sept. 6

An older man walking around shirtless was returned home. A man snatched a woman’s purse.

Sept. 7

Someone reported they been bilked out of $70,000. Report of sunglasses stolen out of a car. A man was videotaping bartenders. They called police. A woman stopped at house in her car and yelled a man was going to kill her.

Sept. 8

Medical call in Aluminum City. Kids skateboarding on city property were told to buzz off. Kids getting rowdy at house, one said he was going to pull a gun. A possible drunk hit a pole in the parking lot and the horn was going off.

Sept. 9

Four teens fighting on Highway 2. Teen drivers reported speeding on 13th St. West.

Sept. 10

A landowner was finally having a truck towed off his property that had been left approximately three years ago on Riley Lane. He called police to make sure it was documented. Reckless motorcycle driving on Highway 2, almost hit a car. Possible fight near Pizza Hut. Report of people hitching a ride on a freight train. Suicide threat — they were going to jump off the school. Police found nothing.

Sept. 11

A business called police after receiving threats about noise. Report of three juveniles on school roof at junior high. They came down and parents were called.

Sept. 12

A man threatened to shoot a juvenile trespassing on his property.

Sept. 13

A woman said she was punched in the face by a friend of the neighbor. Fence around construction area looked like it was hit by a car. Loud bang heard at Cedar Pointe.
