Dale Conrad Bedford

Dale Conrad Bedford, 77, passed away Feb. 8, 2021, surrounded by his family following a short battle with cancer. Dale was born Jan 3, 1944 in Seward, Alaska to Daniel and Barbara Bedford. The family later moved to Joliet where he attended most of his school years. At 18, he joined the Navy and did a tour in Vietnam. After, he went to work building bridges. In 1967 he married Della Richardson.

They lived in Billings where they raised three children and he worked in the packing plant until 1986, when they packed up and moved to Dale’s hometown, Seward, Alaska for a year, before they moved back stateside and settled in Hungry Horse.

Dale loved the outdoors, he was often found fishing, hunting, or just driving around in the woods.

Dale was preceded in death by his wife Della Bedford, his parents, Daniel Bedford and Barbara Schlaht.

He is survived by his sister Barb Pastian of Helena; his children Wanda Bedford of Hungry

Horse; Tonya (Mike) Liciaga of Colorado Springs; Lawrence (Sarah) Bedford of Martin City; his grandchildren, Chelsea Bedford, Krystal (Brendon) Bedford, Teaerra (Zach) Lewis, and Chevelle Bedford; his great-grandchildren Elias Weaver and Zailee Lewis; and multiple nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be at a later date, likely in the summer.
