The roll continues.

The Columbia Falls girls basketball team remained perfect on the season at 12-0 after downing three conference rivals last week.

On Thursday they dropped winless Polson 60-11 at home, on Friday they whumped Whitefish 52-34 on the road and then Saturday they dropped Libby on the road again, 61-12.

The Kats were scheduled to play Bigfork on the road Tuesday. They then face Browning at home Saturday at 4 p.m. as the regular season is winding down.

The game against Whitefish had the promise of being a tight rivalry game.

The Kats had other plans and were up on the Bulldogs 32-7 at the break. They outscored the Bulldogs 23-4 in the second stanza. Hannah Schweikert led the team with 26 points, while the Kats’ defense held Whitefish to just 8% shooting in the first half.

Schweikert had five three-pointers in the contest, while the Bulldogs seemed to have perfected the airball.

Madysen Hoerner had 11 rebounds against the Bulldogs. LaKia Hill and Maddy Robison each chipped in six points and Grace Gedlaman came off the bench to score eight.
