Grad party could still use some help

| April 28, 2021 6:55 AM

The Columbia Falls Class of 2021 graduation committee is still in need of help on a year-end graduation party planned for the Coop.

Organizers are looking for photos of graduates for a slide show. Parents and grads can send the photos to b.knapton@yahoo.com.

With the pandemic splintering the student body to a degree, there has been less participation this year among the parents, as some students have opted for remote learning and other methods of education, said Jennifer

Anderson, one of the parents organizing the party.

For example, some students opted out of high school entirely once the pandemic struck and have since received high school equivalency degrees. If they got an equivalency degree, but were members of the Columbia Falls Class of 2021, they’re still welcome to the party Anderson said, even though they won’t actually be graduates of the school. The party is from 8 p.m. to midnight June 5.

Anyone who wants to help in any capacity can contact Anderson at (406) 249-7812 or Yvonne Wolfe at (406) 471-7978.
