Rebecca Farms of Kalispell has postponed the skijoring set for this weekend. The plan is to now have it the first weekend in March.
The Columbia Falls Cub Scout pack 4101 will hold its annual food drive for the Columbia Falls Food Bank at Smith’s Food and Drug on Jan. 12 starting at 2 p.m.
County residents are invited to attend a public meeting to gather input for the Agency’s 2019-2022 Area Plan on Aging from 1-3 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 22 at the South Campus Building, 40 11th Street West in Kalispell. Join the Flathead County Agency on Aging and provide your ideas and suggestions on how to address the challenges, concerns and opportunities related to services provided to older adults in our communities. Everyone is welcome to attend the free Canyon dinner on Thursday, Dec. 27. The menu is a comfort food tater tot casserole served with broccoli, green salad, rolls and apple streusel cake topped with ice cream for desert. Also we are featuring our winter gear give away. Lots of nice jackets, hats etc. Smile of Hope scholarships forms will be available to women that qualify for help with dental needs. It’s a night you don’t want to miss. Free meals will be served by Columbia Falls Community Kitchen in the basement of St. Richard’s Catholic Church at 6 p.m. beginning Friday, Dec. 28 and continuing through Monday, Dec. 31.
