Skijoring

Rebecca Farms of Kalispell has postponed the skijoring set for this weekend. The plan is to now have it the first weekend in March.

Food drive

The Columbia Falls Cub Scout pack 4101 will hold its annual food drive for the Columbia Falls Food Bank at Smithís Food and Drug on Jan. 12 starting at 2 p.m.

Aging meeting

County residents are invited to attend a public meeting to gather input for the Agencyís 2019-2022 Area Plan on Aging from 1-3 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 22 at the South Campus Building, 40 11th Street West in Kalispell. Join the Flathead County Agency on Aging and provide your ideas and suggestions on how to address the challenges, concerns and opportunities related to services provided to older adults in our communities. Canyon dinner

Everyone is welcome to attend the free Canyon dinner on Thursday, Dec. 27. The menu is a comfort food tater tot casserole served with broccoli, green salad, rolls and apple streusel cake topped with ice cream for desert. Also we are featuring our winter gear give away. Lots of nice jackets, hats etc. Smile of Hope scholarships forms will be available to women that qualify for help with dental needs. Itís a night you donít want to miss. As always we serve between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. Come early and have a cup of coffee and mingle. You are always welcome. Any questions call Flo 250-3406 or Luann 261-1083.

Free meals

Free meals will be served by Columbia Falls Community Kitchen in the basement of St. Richardís Catholic Church at 6 p.m. beginning Friday, Dec. 28 and continuing through Monday, Dec. 31. The Community Kitchen is non-denominational and not religiously affiliated. Please come join us for a delicious dinner with your neighbors.

Community choir

The Columbia Falls Community Choir starts practice Jan. 6. Rehearsals begin at 2 p.m. and last until 4 p.m. Anyone with a desire to sing is invited to attend.
